I love fire roasted red peppers! I use them to make bruschetta instead of sun dried tomatoes. Everyone raves about my bruschetta and it's the peppers that make the difference. They make it sweet which goes great with the fontina cherse and fresh garlic. I think she should try adding fresh basil leaves to her dish, so good together! Nonna is adorable, i wish mine was still with me.

Just adding another comment about grandma, she has no sign arthritis, stooped over like many grandma's today whyyy no computer's no cell phones she keeps her old ways genuinely happy cooking as old time big Italian families enjoyed their gathering of families to grandma 's house.
